How this works
-
When a craving hits
One tap starts a minute of breathing to ground you. Then your why comes back to you, to remind you what you started this for. And if you have recordings — your own voice, or someone who loves you — you can listen to them there.
-
If it doesn’t pass
Play the tape forward. Check whether you’re hungry, angry, lonely, or tired, and write down what’s going on in your private journal. Then breathe through one more minute.
-
If you’re still struggling
Ground yourself in the colors around you, or try one of the things that help people surf an urge. Still struggling after that? Say so. The app opens your journal on a question for exactly this moment, then points you toward people who understand.
-
Support from people in recovery
A community of people doing this too. They share their good days, their hard nights, and simple pictures of things that made them happy. You are not alone in this.
Where this comes from
Urge surfing, the long slow exhale, playing the tape forward, grounding, H.A.L.T. — all of it comes out of addiction treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy, where it has been used and studied for decades. The app just puts it in your pocket whenever you need it.
What’s in the app
-
Your days, and your cravings outlasted
Your day count is the first thing you see. Under it, a second number that only ever goes up: every craving you’ve outlasted. Days can start over. That number never does.
-
A private journal
A question each day, or write about anything. After a craving, a place to put what happened and what helped. Only you can read it.
-
A message from you, to you
Record a few words in a strong moment and hear them in a hard one. Add recordings from the people who love you, too.
-
Play the tape forward
Write out where the first drink actually goes: tonight, tomorrow morning, the day after. Nobody else reads it, and it never leaves your phone.
-
Ways to ground yourself
A minute of breathing with the water. A search for colors in the room. The things that help people surf an urge, ready when you are.
-
The community feed
Post how it’s going, with a photo if you like. React to other people’s days and replies. Block anyone instantly, and report anything, without a word to them.
-
Milestones, celebrated
A week, a month, fifty days, a hundred, a year. Reach one and the app celebrates it with you, because you earned it.
-
Help, always one tap away
Get help sits at the top of every screen, with 988, 911 and SAMHSA’s helpline. It never sits behind a paywall, a sign-in, or a trial.
What it costs
Free for 14 days, then $9.99 per month. Annual plans are available for $49.99. Your day count stays free, always.
US pricing. Cancel any time in Google Play.
Your words stay yours
You choose the name you go by, your own or not. Your recordings and your journal are yours alone — not moderators, not us. Photos lose their location data before they upload. No ads, and nothing about you is ever sold.
